Isn’t that a huge hole in the Christian explanation for the empty tomb?? Notice in this quote from Matthew chapter 27 below that the Pharisees do not ask Pilate for guards to guard the tomb until the next day after Jesus’ crucifixion, and, even though Joseph of Arimethea had rolled a great stone in front of the tomb’s door, he had not SEALED it shut!

Anyone could have stolen the body during those 12 hours!

The empty tomb “evidence” for the supernatural reanimation/resurrection of Jesus by Yahweh has a HUGE hole in it!

“When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who was also a disciple of Jesus. 58 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus; then Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 59 So Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth 60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn in the rock. He then rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb and went away. 61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.

The next day, that is, after the day of Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate 63 and said, “Sir, we remember what that impostor said while he was still alive, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 Therefore command the tomb to be made secure until the third day; otherwise his disciples may go and steal him away, and tell the people, ‘He has been raised from the dead,’ and the last deception would be worse than the first.” 65 Pilate said to them, “You have a guard[a] of soldiers; go, make it as secure as you can.”[b] 66 So they went with the guard and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone.”
—Matthew 27 Garyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02519721717265344702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141750308460348660.post-21648661066993652832014-07-03T13:12:18.230-07:002014-07-03T13:12:18.230-07:00He is not alone, but alone with the Alone. He is not alone, but alone with the Alone.Dr. James J. Unlike us at birth, She, from the moment of Her Conception was not altricial but precocial—not blind, naked, and helpless but aware, in love, clothed in virtue, and exercising it. For at the moment of Her Conception Her humanity Is Assumed from non-being into Being, into being Aware, into being in Love, and Compassionate with His Passion for the salvation of all of humanity, including Her own. In that first instant of Her human existence, in Most Holy Communion with the Divine, She is immediately humbled in the Light of this Vision and Is Crowned by It without demur or delay, elevated in dignity, nobility, and indeed royalty as Queen of Heaven and of Earth, of angels and of men. As poor in spirit from the moment of Her Conception, radiating from Her humanity the Divine attribute of simplicity as poverty, The Blessed One, The Immaculate, is in that same instant filled with His Infinite Riches, and Hers is the Kingdom of Heaven and She its Queen. As meek, malleable, and ductile from the moment of Her Conception, and humbled to humus in Her humanity, The Blessed One, The Immaculate, immediately inherits that earth of which She is partly made, and of which She is thereupon made Queen, and, in that same instant, immediately offers it to Him for the purposes of His Incarnation. In support of this assertion relative to Her immediate Coronation, Her Queenship, St. John Eudes writes:

But blessed the heaven and the earth which have for their Queen the admirable Child Mary. For She possesses more light and wisdom, strength and power, than all the kings and queens who ever were or ever will be. And this little Mary is a great Princess and a most powerful Queen; Queen of men and of Angels, Empress of the universe. She was Princess and Queen from the womb of Her mother . . . Is it not suitable to the glory of the eternal King of Kings, that She who was to be His Mother would bear a royal crown even from Her birth? [Moreover] The Most Holy Trinity elected Her from the moment of Her conception, in fact from all eternity, as Queen of heaven and earth: Ab aeterno ordinata sum, or, as the Hebrew has it, A saeculo inaugurata sum princeps, or, according to another version, A saeculo coronata sum: “I possess [She declares] the quality of Princess and Queen, crowned from all eternity--And I was enthroned from of old.” Prov. 8:23 (From: St. John Eudes, The Wondrous Childhood of the Most Holy Mother of God, pp. 237 ff.)
Dr. James J. These Great Things are We, and these great things has he done in me: preparation to receive Him and the reception of Him. At my Immaculate Conception I receive Him spiritually and physically, at the Incarnation physically and spiritually.Dr. James J. The Martyr:
Where Redemption-Justification-Sa...Re. The Martyr:
Where Redemption-Justification-Salvation Is of the One Act ad extra of the Three Persons in circumincession, and yet where we are redeemed by His Blood, it is She from whom His Blood and Body obtain. St. John Damascene, in De Fide Orthodoxa iii, writes: “the Son of God, from the Virgin’s purest blood, formed Himself flesh animated with a human soul.” St. Thomas Aquinas and the Ven. Maria de Agreda concur, that the Body of Christ was formed and fashioned by the Holy Spirit from the Most Pure Blood of the Most Immaculate Heart of Most Holy Mary, upon Her informed and loving fiat. Wherefore, She is the first to give Her blood for Christ, the very blood out of which His Body and Blood Is formed, She is rightly entitled Co-redemptrix. Redeemed by the Blood of Christ at the moment of Her Immaculate Conception, She, at the moment of the Incarnation in and of Her body, is the first to give Her blood for the purpose of our redemption. Indeed, although in the Blessed Sacrament His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity are Really Present, He emphasizes, “This Is My Body” and “This Is My Blood,” firstly because of His Sacrifice in These but also to honor Her from Whom these ultimately obtain. From Her first fiat at Her Immaculate Conception, most humbly, wittingly, willingly, and with such great suffering and sorrow does She offer Her single-celled body that it may become the Sustentacular Matrix for the Body and Blood of Her Onlybegotten toward the purposes of His Great Sacrifice. Truly, not only is our Queen Mother of royal blood, but the blood in Her veins is the same as that which flows from the Side of our Redeemer King.
From The Magnificat (A Marian Devotion)Dr. James J.
